Housing for the Community
The social housing development consists of 8 units, featuring aesthetically pleasing architecture that blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment. These new dwellings provide new opportunities for the local community while being sympathetic to the local pipistrelle bat population.
All bats are officially endangered species, and our homes have incorporated available bat habitats within the roof spaces. The pre-existing properties were identified as being used by the bats for maternity roosts. Therefore, under expert guidance, we have created new habitats for them and hope that the bats will return to use these specially designed roof spaces.
