Major refurbishment and extension
Parade House was a major refurbishment and extension of this early 20th Century dwelling. The existing house was extended into the roof space, and the rear half split horizontally with a two storey extension with glazed link providing 3 large apartments. A further property was created by demolition of the garages and excavating back into the bank, with large retaining walls and waterproof works.
The properties were finished to a high end specification. The existing timber balcony structure was replaced with an ornate structural steel balcony to suit that from the original building. This was a restricted site that required careful planning and consideration.
